Why marine & RV detailing matters
Black Hills sun breaks down gelcoat, vinyl, and exterior plastics faster than people realize. Annual or seasonal protection isn't cosmetic — it's preventive maintenance for the resale value of the rig.
Mildew, holding-tank odors, soft spots in carpet underlayment, and seal failures all start with moisture left to sit. Catching it during a detail saves thousands in repair bills later.
Whatever's on the rig when it goes into storage is what greets you in spring, often baked in or grown out. End-of-season detailing prevents that. We clean, dry, and treat surfaces specifically for what storage does to them.

Common questions
For most owners in the Black Hills region, a detail at the start of season and another before storage is the right baseline. Boats that live on the water, RVs that travel hard, or rigs that show heavy UV exposure may benefit from a mid-season touch-up. We can build a maintenance schedule around your usage.
Yes. Tank odors are a frequent request and there's a methodical process for addressing them: drain and flush, enzyme treatment, ventilation system cleaning, and follow-up sanitization. We've cleared situations other operations told customers were permanent.
For boats and smaller RVs, mobile service is often workable depending on water access and power supply. Larger jobs are typically better at our shop in Hot Springs. Tell us where the rig lives and what you need, and we'll figure it out.
Oxidation is the chalky, dull layer that develops on gelcoat from UV exposure. Light oxidation polishes out cleanly. Moderate oxidation requires compounding before polishing. Severe oxidation may need wet-sanding restoration. We assess in person and tell you what category yours falls into and what's realistic to expect.
